The last school holidays were rather boring until the last two weeks. I had done nothing except hang out with mates and babysit. As we were not aloud to camp at Te Oni beach anymore, we decided to go to Lake Rotoma. We packed everything up into the boat and drove there. With me I took my best mate, Sigourney. We had fun snorkelling and sea biscuiting around the lake so we vowed that we would go camping there again.

- Hi, my name is Nicole, A.K.A Niki. I come from a family of one sister and one brother and my mum and stepdad. I attend Opotiki College as a year 10 and I am taking the options Art and Information Management (which I am making my blog in.) I enjoy spending the day with my friends especially when shopping! I am learning how to skateboard at the moment, (not getting very far with that!) and I love camping. One of my favourite things to do is talk. I love speeches. I text a lot and spend most of my time cleaning my room. I love sea biscuiting on the lakes and I am trying to learn wakeboarding at the moment too. Opotiki is good for roaming and hanging with friends and that is one of the reasons why I love living here. My goal for 2009 is to do as well as I can in school and train very hard in the next 3 years in order to make it into the Army.
